bad call after bad call...

I agree with this:

I'm happy for the Steelers, but these referees were an embarassment. They called the worst game in history. It's like, riding the wave of Steeler fans, they did whatever they could to call against Seattle.

Maybe that's why I was so numb. The Seahawks just got bad call after bad call after bad call... oh and Roth SO did not get that touchdown.

"Worst game in history" ? Nah, as a diehard Redskins fan, I think Mike Holmgren's clock management cost you guys far more than the ref's did.

And his apparent blind spot towards his own failings there . . . he did the exact same thing here against the skins -

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/columns/story?columnist=wojciechowski_gene&id=2322300 " - The Seahawks (2-2) tied the game on Darrell Jackson's 6-yard catch with 1:23 remaining. They got the ball back on Kelly Herndon's interception on a pass deflected off the outstretched fingertips of Clinton Portis, the only turnover of the game."

Not mentioned in that article is that they had the ball on the skins 33 with 49 seconds to go - and Holmgren calls two running plays for 4 yards total, runs all the time off the clock, and leaves his kicker with a 47 yard field goal to win the game - which he misses.

Back to the superbowl - I saw the game as the team that knows how to finish won.
